A settlement in Transcarpathia with the population of 9000 people will receive a special diplomatic status

Starting October this year, the branch of the Consulate General of Romania in Chernivtsi will start working in Transcarpathian Solotvino.

According to the Consul General of Romania in Chernivtsi Mrs. Eleonora Moldovan, every week the authorized representatives of diplomatic missions will be coming to Transcarpathia to provide consular services.

Thus, the citizens will not have to tarvel more than 400 kilometers to Chernivtsi for registration and obtaining necessary documents to visit neighboring Romania. Everybody will be able to use the services of the bracnch, Mrs. Consul General assured.

Necessary repairs in a dedicated room are being completed, the Mayor of Solotvyno Yuri Ukhal assured.
