A workshop for winemakers in Transcarpathia "French experience in the field of winemaking: organization of the industry, introduction of the geographical denomination system, commercialization, requirements for the quality of wine" will be held on Tuesday, May 21.
The event will be attended by Agriculture Advisor of the French Embassy in Ukraine Nicolas Perrin, international expert, ELP lecturer (Bordeaux, France) Stefan Bade, Manager of the EU Project "Support for the Development of the System of Geographical Denominations in Ukraine" Saverio Savio, the Chairman of the Committee for the Agroindustrial Complex Entrepreneurs at the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Oleg Yukhnovsky and others.
The seminar will focus on the organization of the wine industry and its introduction as a separate Transcarpathian brand. Also, the French experts will discuss the introduction of the system of geographical denominations in Ukraine and explain the frequent question "What are the geographical denominations and why should they be registered?".
Event organizers: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in partnership with the Embassy of France in Ukraine and the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The seminar will take place on the territory of the winery Chateau Chizay (the city of Beregovo, Chizay tract, №1). The beginning is at 10.00.
