On July 17, at 16:39, Tyachiv rescuers received a report of a fire in a residential building on Sadova Street in Tyachivsky Lazy village, Tyachiv district.
The rescuers were called by the neighbours of the house owner, who had noticed the fire on the roof of the house. A crew of the 8th state fire and rescue unit and the local fire brigade of the villlage of Teresva were sent to eliminate the fire.
The firefighters were acting very quickly to prevent the fire from spreading throughout the house.
Already at 18:05 it was contained, and at 18:18 it was completely eliminated.
The fire destroyed about 7 sq m of the residential building roof, 4 sq m of the outbuilding roof and 2 tones of hay.
The cause of the fire is being established, but most likely the fire was caused by a short circuit in the wiring.
The amount of loss is being established.
Nobody was killed or injured in the fire.
