A resident of Vynogradiv robbed a local store and beat cashier

A 28-year-old resident of Vynogradiv beat a store cashier and stole 7000 UAH from the cash register. Police officers arrested the robber and put him in a temporary holding facility

On March 11, a worker of a local store reported a robbery to Vynogradiv police. The woman said that an unknown man had burst into the shop and taken about 7,000 UAH from the cash register. The applicant tried to stop him, and then the robber struck her several blows to the face.     

Officers of Vynogradiv criminal police in less than 24 hours identified and arrested the attacker – a 28-year-old local resident. 

Investigators initiated a criminal proceeding over this incident under Part 2 of Art.186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery combined with violence not dangerous to life or health of the victim or the threat of such violence, or committed repeatedly or by prior conspiracy). Sanction of this Article provides for imprisonment for a term of four to six years.
