A resident of Ternopil left at the Transcarpathian customs the goods that he was carrying from Italy

Employees of the Transcarpathian customs office found food and drinks made in Italy that the citizens of Ukraine was carrying without declaring them.

The Ukrainian was crossing the customs border at the customs post "Tisa" by a car "VOLKSWAGEN CRAFTER".

He chose the "red corridor" for customs control. Customs officers asked him to fill out a customs declaration, in which the Ukrainian indicated his passport data, information about the vehicle and the presence of the luggage with personal items. During the oral survey, the citizen confirmed this information and denied having any other goods, including those prohibited or restricted for transportation across the customs border of Ukraine.

During the customs control of the vehicle and belongings of the citizen of Ukraine, in addition to bags with personal belongings, customs officers found: 11 bottles of wine "MARTINI ASTI"; 18 bottles of wine "FRAGOLINO TERRE DEL SOLE"; 6 bottles of wine "MARTINI E ROSSI BIANCO"; 9 bottles of "MARTINI BIANCO TORINO"; 11 bottles of wine "CHIANTI CORTE ALLE MURA"; 22.08 kg of tuna fish "TONNO ALL’OLIO DI OLIVA" and "PESCATO A CANNA"; 8,64 kg of cheese "PHILADELPHIA LIGHT 55%"; 15.3 kg of cheese "GORGONZOLA CASA LEONARDI".

The found food and drinks were in the cargo compartment of the vehicle, the citizen recongnized it as his property.

Thus, the citizen of Ukraine failed to indicate in the customs declaration accurate information about the goods being moved by him across the customs border of Ukraine, which in this amount are subject to a written declaration and restricted for transportation across the customs border of Ukraine.

 The citizen of Ukraine was allowed to move across the customs border alcoholic beverages in the amounts determined by the Customs Code of Ukraine, namely: two bottles of Italian wine "MARTINI E ROSSI BIANCO" (2l).

These actions have signs of violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

The report on violation of customs regulations was drawn up, the food and drinks were seized until the court decision.
