On Monday, around 21:00, law enforcement officers received a report from the Chop border guard detachment that at the checkpoint "Tisa" a man had tried to bribe one of their employees.
As law enforcement officers found out, a 26-year-old resident of Odessa wanted to avoid administrative responsibility under Article 204-1 of the CAO (illegal crossing or attempt of illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine) by offering a border guard $ 150.
The cash was seized. Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the case.
