A resident of Lviv will be fined 135,000 UAH for brushes

Recently, at the customs post "Tisa", inspectors documented the violation under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine concerning a female resident of Lviv, who has decided not to declare makeup accessories, worth over 135,000 UAH. 

Returning home from Spain as a passenger in a van, the 39-year-old woman was asked to fill in customs declaration. In it the citizen of Ukraine deliberately indicated the presence of small amount of currency and luggage with personal items. However, while checking one of the boxes, Chop inspectors found undeclared 1,251 brushes for makeup applying of French origin by the brand "Pinceaux LEONARD-BULLIER SAS" and 50 bags for their storage. According to the woman, she was carrying the goods at the request of her friend from Spain to deliver to a resident of Kyiv

So, for giving customs officers false information on the goods transported across the border of Ukraine, which are subject to a written declaration and taxation, the woman, after the verdict of the court, will have to pay a fine in the amount of the full cost of the seized items.
