The premiere of the animated film "The Breadwinner" took place at the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF). The presentation was attended by 42-year-old American actress Angelina Jolie, who is a producer of the film, – the Varosh informs.
It is nice to know that the writer of the feature animated film, which tells about the difficult life of a girl in Afghanistan, is Anita Doron, our fellow countrywoman, who was born in the city of Beregovo.
The script of the film is based on the book by Canadian writer Debora Ellis. The film will tell about the life of a girl named Parwan, who lives under the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, and is forced to disguise as a boy to help her family after her father was unfairly imprisoned.
Anita Doron, 42, was born in Beregovo, Transcarpathia. She currently lives in Canada and is a director, scriptwriter, producer, photographer for many films. Anita is known as an activist of the TED community, and is also a scriptwriter and photographer for music videos of contemporary Canadian artists.
