In the afternoon, Beregovo district police station was notified by phone that near the village of Kidosh in Beregovo district, an unknown person was engaged in illegal hunting.
The investigative team of Beregovo District Police was sent to the scene. Law enforcement officers arrested a 34-year-old resident of Beregovo, who was carrying a shotgun of 16 caliber, four bullets and two spent cartridges.
According to the man, he found the weapon in the attic of his house. The shotgun and ammunition were sent for examination. Their owner faces the statutory responsibility for illegal possession of firearms, – the PR Service of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region reported.
