In Uzhgorod, during the All-Ukrainian Spartakiad for disabled "Strength of Spirit," which is taking place in the sports complex "Yunist", a record, which can be included in the Guinness Book of Records, was set. 66-year-old Yuriy Denychenko from the city of Pavlograd in Dnipropetrovsk region managed to lift 16-kilogram weight 261 times within 5 minutes.
Mr. Denychenko, who is 7-time world champion in weight lifting, says that it is a record of Ukraine and possibly of the world for such competitions. The competition was recorded on video, which will be sent to the Guinness World Records Committee.
