A rare photo of Tyachiv: the city center during the Austro-Hungarian reign (Photo-fact)

This is how the center of the city looked like more than one hundred years ago.

According to the digital library Magyar Digitalis Kepkonyvtar, the postcard with this picture was released in 1908.  In the archival photograph, you can see how the buildings looked like and residents of the city were dressed like during the reign of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
