A previously convicted robber was detained in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Uzhgorod police promptly identified the robber, who had taken the victim’s mobile phone and injured him. 
The crime happened yesterday, on Dekabristy Street in the regional center of Transcarpathia. Arriving at the scene, officers of the Uzhgorod police department took urgent measures to establish the circumstances of the crime and identify the person involved in the robbery. 
Police found out that a 33-year-old previously convicted resident of the regional center of Transcarpathia had robbed the Uzhgorod resident. The robber was detained on one of the city streets. 
Investigators confiscated from the detainee the stolen mobile phone, which will be returned to the victim. 
The police initiated criminal proceedings over the crime under Part 2 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is robbery combined with violence.
