A passenger car collided with a fuel truck In Transcarpathia – one of the drivers is in the hospital

Khust firefighters received a report of a road accident on Voloshin street in Khust.

For yet undetermined reason, on the vehicle bridge over the Rika river, a fuel truck "Renault" driven by a 52-year-old resident of the village of Borzhavske in Vynogradiv district collided with a "Mercedes E200" driven by a 24-year-old resident of Khust.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the passenger car with polytrauma was taken to the district hospital. The fuel truck driver was not injured.

One crew of the State Fire and Rescue Unit 10 of the city of Khust was working at the scene. To prevent the fire, rescuers disconnected the battery of the truck and watered the roadway. The tanker was not damaged.
