An educational environmental route "Rocks and Minerals of the Carpathians" has been opened in Uzhgorod forestry, the press service of the Transcarpathian Forest and Hunting Administration informs. Its aim is to introduce tourists to the types of rocks and minerals that are found in the Carpathians. Each specimen is accompanied by information stating what kind of rock it is. And the forestry workers can tell other interesting facts.
The collection consists of 20 types of rocks of the Carpathians. But every time the collection expands. Also, there are mini collection of rock samples for each structural unit of the forestry.
