A new system of fines has been introduced

Parking on spaces for people with disabilities will be punished by a fine of 1020 to 1700 UAH.

These innovations in the traffic rules were introduced in Ukraine a few days ago. 

– In Uzhgorod, some drivers have already been caught – patrol policemen imposed a fine of 1020 hryvnia on the driver of a "Mercedes", who had left the car on a parking space for people with disabilities, near one of the city’s shopping centers, – the patrol police informed. 

The new system of fines was introduced recently. If a driver improperly uses the sign "Driver with a disability" on his car or leaves his or her car where only drivers with disabilities or drivers carrying persons with disabilities are allowed to stop or park, he or she will be charged 60 to 100 tax-free minimums (1020-1700 hryvnia) fine.
