Modern gas-welding workshop at the Slalyava vocational school was opened in the framework of the regional program of vocational education development. Nearly 77 thousand hryvnias was allocated for this purpose.
– The current labor market needs such working professionals as welders, mechanics, electricians, seamstresses. But theoretical study without practical vocational education is ineffective. Therefore, the regional government is working to improve logistics of vocational schools. By the end of the next year we plan to provide all vocational schools of the region with modern equipment – Oleksandr Ledyda said.
In the workshop, they have made repairs, installed multimedia equipment and 13 booths with welding equipment.
– The products manufactured in the school go to the market. Thanks to renovation of the workshop, students will be able to improve their practical skills in compliance with all safety standards. The new equipment is economic and cost-effective and enables you to work more efficiently, – Slalyava vocational school teacher Oleksandr Darchi said.
After the grand opening of the workshop, the guests reviewed the conditions of the educational process in the school, including a tour of the classrooms and workshops – the press-center of the RSA informed.
