The road company, that is repairing the Mukachevo-Rohatyn highway from the administrative border of Transcarpathia at the Yablunytsky Pass, is suspending the work for technological reasons.
– Until now, the roadmakers have been receiving asphalt from Ivano-Frankivsk region, but the delivery has time limits, after exceeding which the asphalt becomes unfit for use, – Hennadiy Moskal said. – After the roadmakers had passed a significant portion of Rakhiv district, it became impossible to import asphalt from Prykarpattya.
In the near future, the company will open a new asphalt plant in the village of Rokosovo in Khust district and resume the repair of the road "Mukachevo-Rohatyn".
