Today, known not only in Transcarpathian region, but also beyond its borders, choreographer Clara Baloh celebrates her jubilee. She turned 85.
On the occasion of this date, with her own efforts and funds, she created a museum in her office at the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic. There, you can see a variety of gifts from the U.S., Canada, Russia, France – from where Clara Baloh has been during her lifetime. Those are old photos and posters, souvenirs and books that the ballet master was given as a memento, some of them she bought herself to remember those places that she visited.
By the way, about 3 years ago, Clara Baloh gave her large exhibits (vases and souvenirs) to the Transcarpathian museum, in the hope that they would be put up in the walls of the historic building. But so far, as the director of the museum Vasyl Sheba said, there is no such possibility. Currently, they can provide neither space, nor money for that.
We congratulate Clara Baloh on her birthday, and wish her to live a very long and happy life!
