A march in memory of the 24-year-old Miroslav Mysla killed in the zone of the antiterrorist operation took place in Kyiv. The march was dedicated to his birthday – July 4.
About 100 people with banners featuring the image of the deceased soldier and flags of the "Sokil" marched from the metro station "Arsenalna", the correspondent of the UKRINFORM informs.
The march was held under the slogan "Being a warrior is to live forever!". The memorial event finished with a concert on Kontraktova Square.
Miroslav Mysla (alias "Hunter") was a member of the leadership and the head of the historical research office of the NGO "Sokil", volunteer, soldier of the Special volunteer unit "Carpathian Sich", officer, platoon commander of 93rd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Active participant of the Revolution of Dignity, during which he was a special reporter of the radio "Voice of Freedom".
Since the spring of 2015, he was serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the "Carpathian Sich", 93rd brigade. In May and August 2016, he was studying at the National Army Academy. After graduation, he returned to the war zone, where he became the commander of the unit in the 8th company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 93rd brigade.
He was killed on October 2, 2016, near the village of Krymske in Luhansk region from multiple injuries during mortar fire.
