A man, who was “taking a rest” on a track, was almost killed by a train

At the stretch "Khust-Bushtyno", the machinist of the diesel train "Korolevo-Tyachiv" engaged emergency braking to prevent running over a person sitting on the railway track. However, the collision could not be avoided.

The ambulance brought the injured man, aged about 60 years, in Tyachiv central district hospital in Transcarpathian region, where doctors diagnosed him with a closed head injury, concussion of the brain. Train traffic was not delayed – the Office of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the Lviv railway reported.
