A man, who was selling detonators and gun powder, was detained in Transcarpathia

Investigators of the Khust Police Department opened criminal proceedings over illegal handling of explosives by a resident of the village of Vyshkovo. The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine
On February 10, in the course of the control of a criminal offense, operatives of the criminal police sector of the Khust department detained a 65-year-old resident of Vyshkovo.
Near the bus terminal in the city of Khust, the man was selling detonator blanks and gun powder.
The money, namely 1000 hryvnias, received by the man while selling explosives was confiscated by law enforcement officers. The resident of Vyshkovo was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Investigators of the Khust Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Article 263 (1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosives).
