About 4 o’clock in the morning, Uzhgorod patrol policemen noticed aMercedes violating the traffic rules on Hrushevsky street. The driver did not obey the request of the policemen to stop and continued driving, increasing the speed.
The policemen followed the car to stop the driver and check the documents. Noticing the patrol police crew, the driver of the "Mercedes" accelerated again and soon lost control, slid to the side of the road and got into an accident.
Fortunately no one was hurt. According to preliminary information, the driver was sober, but he did not explain what made him start a race and flee from the police officers. Instead, the patrol policemen became suspicious about the authenticity of the documents.
The car was taken to the impound lot. The necessary administrative documents were drawn up against the driver.
