During the verification of the notarized consent of the children’s mother, the inspector took a closer look at the seals affixed by the Consulate General of Ukraine in Milan.
After an in-depth inspection of the document, border guards found out that the seals and signatures of the Vice Consul of Ukraine were forged.
Border guards reported the National Police about a crime under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and handed over the man and the children to the police officers.
