A large batch of cigarettes was found this morning by the border guards, together with customs officials at the checkpoint "Dyakove".
A 44-year-old citizen of Lithuania, driver of a truck Volvo, tried to covertly carry tobacco products to neighboring Romania. The cigarettes were in cable coils, which the Lithuanian was transporting to Bulgaria.
The contraband tobacco products were confiscated from the foreigner. The exact number of cigarettes is currently being establishted.
