On January 25, about 150 fine and decorative art works from students of over 20 schools of aesthetic education will be presented in the atrium of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The exhibition is organized by the Department of Culture of the RSA within the third (regional) round of the All-Ukrainian competition of children’s art "Let’s come together, brothers!" established to honor the multifaceted talent of Ukrainian genius Taras Shevchenko.
During the exhibition, the professional jury will choose the 10 best works (in the categories of "Visual Arts" and "Arts and Crafts"), which will then represent Transcarpathia in the capital.
As practice shows, the works of young Transcarpathians are rated highly the final stage of the creative competition. Thus, last year, two of our contestants won first prizes – Angelina Polyak, a student of Vynogradiv Art School for Children (nomination "Visual Arts") and Oleksandra Khodakov, a student of Chynadiyevo Art School for Children (nomination "Arts and Crafts").
It’s possible that this year, Transcarpathian youth once again will surprise fans and connoisseurs of the great poet’s works.
The grand opening will take place at 15.00.
