Uzhgorod resident Marina Fedchyk notes not a new but annoying city problem. This refers to the area of Chelyuskintsi street. She writes:
"For three days – if not more – water has been flowing from under ground beside the sidewalk, near the bus stop. Today I called and reported the problem, now we are waiting for response."
Uzhgorod.in emphasizes: they have repeatedly reported this problem to the city government back during the time of the former mayor Pogorelov. However, there has been no reaction.
Recently, the water utility service opened the pavement, inspected pipes, and then covered the hole with gravel and set a signal line. For more than a week, works have not been resumed, and the water is flowing…
By the way, in Uzhgorod, they threaten to stop water supply because of the debts that emerge due its very high cost.
