A joint meeting of physicians and the Regional Military Commissariat took place in Uzhgorod

Problematic issues of medical examination of persons subject to military service were discussed in Uzhgorod at the joint session by the management of the Transcarpathian regional military office, the regional health department, resentatives of the police department, the regional office of the Security Service of Ukraine, heads of district health departments, Transcarpathian regional hospital, Mukachevo sistrict hospital, doctors of the regional military commissariat. 

Analyzing the performance of tasks of the military commissariat during the fourth wave of mobilization, the regional military commissioner Ivan Vasyltsyun noted that out of 1110 people, who have been served calls, only 450 reported to military commissariats. 207 of them have already passed a medical examination, 149 have been found fit for service. Another 184 men are currently undergoing additional medical examination in hospitals. 

Ivan Vasyltsyun emphasized the need for clear coordination and timely exchange of information between the chief physicians of medical institutions, where mobilized persons are examined, and military offices of the region. 

During the discussion, the Acting Head of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Volodymyr Kuzmyk emphasized personal responsibility of doctors who conduct examinations of mobilized persons.    

The Deputy Head of the Health Department Tetyana Mitsyo drew the attention of fellow physicians to the features of medical examination of conscripts, contract soldiers and mobilized persons. T.Mitsyo also reported that 33 health professionals would be mobilized for the purposes of the ATO. Among them, there will be four surgeons, one psychiatrist, and doctors of other specialties (internists, family physicians, infectious disease specialists, etc.).
