A Hungarian tried to bribe Transcarpathian border guards

Yesterday, at the checkpoint "Vylok", the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment stopped an attempt to give unlawful benefits. A 30-year-old Hungarian citizen tried to bribe border guards with five thousand forints. The man was entering Ukraine in a car Skoda. The foreigner offered border guards a bribe for crossing the border without passing an in-depth inspection of the vehicle. The border guards refused to take it. The border guards informed the police about possible signs of a crime under Article 369 (1) of the Criminal Code of the Criminal Code “Offering, Promising or Giving Unlawful Benefit to an Official”.
