A Hungarian lost his “Opel” for the smuggling of 174 packs of cigarettes

A Hungarian, driving a van "Opel-Vivaro" registered in Hungary, heading from Ukraine via the checkpoint "Luzhanka" of the Mukachevo border guard detachment, tried to speed up the border control. Border guards decided to conduct a thorough inspection of the car, which revealed 174 packs of cigarettes "Fest" without excise stamps, which were hidden in the hollow spaces of the vehicle. The tobacco products and the vehicle as a means of smuggling were seized. Total assessment of the vehicle reached over fifty-three thousand hryvnias, the cost of tobacco products will be determined later. A protocol on violation of customs regulations was executed.
