A group of serial thieves was caught in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Three residents of Mukachevo committed several thefts in different settlements of the district during one night. 
The police recently received several reports of thefts. All of them occurred the villages of Mukachevo district. In addition, the stolen items were of the same type. Thus, a resident of the village of Velyki Luchky said that a water pump, an electric mower, a screwdriver and other tools had been stolen from the utility room of his household. The same evening, residents of the villages of Velyki Luchky and Strabychovo also reported the thefts of tools, a water pump and a cable from a yard. 
After processing the received information, the police carried out a number of measures, as a result of which the thieves were found. Officers of the criminal police sector detained three Mukachevo residents aged 20, 23 and 29 red-handed. The material evidence found by police officers in the criminals’ car was seized. After the necessary investigative procedure, it will be returned to the real owners. 
Investigators of the Mukachevo District Police Department opened a criminal case over the theft under Part 3 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Theft). The investigation into the case is ongoing.
