A good example is contagious: residents are repairing Zahorska street in Uzhgorod themselves

The example of the residents of Velyka Dobron in Uzhgorod district, who repaired the road in the village at their own expense, proved to be contagious and inspired other inhabitants of Transcarpathia to make efforts and fix up their roads.

An Uzhgorod resident Mykhailo Dalekorey on his page on Facebook told that residents of Zahorska street in Uzhgorod decided not to wait for help from officials and began reparing the pavement on the street themselves.  

"Thousands of cars pass this segment of Zahorska street daily, and we must do patching repairs at our own expense…"

"Thanks to all for self-organization and financial assistance in the repair of Zahorska street. The government has once again ignored our collective appeal… We have to repair it ourselves… We call government bodiess and all responsible people for cooperation."
