“A gift from Transcarpathia is going to Hungary”: in Mizhhirya district, rivers are carrying piles of garbage (VIDEO)

Due to heavy rains, that occured in Mizhhirya district yesterday, June 28, rapid river flows are carrying piles of garbage to neighboring countries. 
Yesterday, in the period from 15:30 to 17:30, very active thunderstorm activity was recorded in Mizhhirya district, with hail, gusts of wind and heavy rainfall – 119 mm in 2 hours! This is almost the 20 days worth of rain in two hours. Of course, it resulted in rapid rises in water levels and even landslides. 
As a result of people’s inaction and irresponsibility, the environment and rivers, in particular, are overflowing with garbage.  
Mykhailo Tsendra posted on Facebook a video from Mizhhirya district, which shows the rivers overflowing with garbage as a result of heavy rains. 
“The flow of garbage, firewood, bottles, wheels in Soymy from Maydan, this is a catastrophe. A gift is going to Hungary,” – the author of the video wrote.
