Today, December 7, 2015, at the customs post "Chop-Railway", during the customs control of an international train "Chop-Budapest", customs officers found undeclared and hidden 10 leaflets containing propaganda of Nazism and fascism of the Third Reich period. Also, they found a piece of amber weighing 110 grams and an amber necklace. All that was hidden and carried across the customs border by a citizen of Serbia.
During the customs control, the Serb admitted having hidden the goods and items found by customs offciers. In particular, in his explanation, he said that he had purchased the leaflets at one of the markets in Ukraine.
Thus the foreigner committed acts aimed at moving goods across the customs border of Ukraine concealed from customs control.
These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. A report on violation of customs regulations was made, the amber, the necklace and the leaflets were seized.
