Today, November 27, within the framework of the campaign "16 Days of Actions Against Violence", the street action "Lilac ribbon. Free from fear – free from violence" will take place in Uzhgorod.
On Teatralna Square, from 14:00 to 16:00, social workers will be advising how to protect yourself and others from violence. In particular, information leaflets and brochures will be distributed among passersby. Together with students, during the flashmob, a hundred symbolic balloons will be launched into the sky.
The organizers – the Department of Social Welfare of the RSA and Uzhgorod City Center for Social Services for Children, Youth and Family – invite everyone to participate and media representatives to cover the event.
