A five-year boy died and two adults are in hospital: aftermath of an accident in Uzhgorod

January 30, about 19.00, the driver of a "VAZ-21063", moving on the bridge over the Uzh river, on Babyak street, lost control of the car on slippery road, drove onto the oncoming lane, and collided with a bus "PAZ."

On the front passenger seat of the VAZ, there was a woman with a 5-year old child in her arms. Upon the collision, the child was "thrown" out of the car under the wheels of the bus. The boy died on the spot from the injuries. His mother and the driver of the VAZ with injuries were transported to the local hospital. Neither the driver nor the passengers of the bus were injured.

The car was delivered to the impound lot. The investigation is being conducted.
