Recently, a fence has appeared on the sidewalk near the drama theater in Uzhgorod. 

Uzhgorod residents are outraged by the unlawful actions of the developer.

This is what Uzhgorod City Council stated on this matter.

"The Office of State Architecture and Construction Control of Uzhgorod City Council registered a permit for construction works dd. April 18, 2018, No. ЗК112181080653 for the construction of a multi-apartment residential building with built-in commercial premises on the site of a non-residential building within the existing development line on the Kyivska embankment in Uzhgorod

The project was reviewed.

One of the components of the project is the construction organization project with the construction master plan indicating the location and operation zone of special equipment, sites for the storage of building materials, the location of the premises for builders, the fencing of the construction site, which extends to the pedestrian zone (sidewalk).

In connection with this, the project of the construction organization provides for the construction of a pedestrian crossing with a canopy passing through the roadway.

According to the decision of the VIII session of the Uzhgorod City Council dated October 18, 2013, No. 406 "On the Procedure for Establishing Charges for Temporary Construction Sites", the developer submitted documents for the execution of an agreement regarding the payment for the temporary construction site located on the territory being the property of the city.

The area of ​​the leased land is 321.5 sq. m. The fee for the placement of this site goes to the local budget."
