A drunk driver hit a 14-year-old cyclist

According to the Communication Department of Transcarpathian Police, officers of the Khust patrol police department documented a case of driving while being intoxicated in the village of Boronevo, Khust district.  
“The road accident happened in the village of Boronevo in Khust region in the afternoon: a car Peugeot with foreign registration hit a 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle. Fortunately, the teenager was not seriously injured,” – the police informed.
When officers of the Khust police department arrived at the scene, they found out that the perpetrator of the car accident, a resident of the village of Berezovo in Khust district, did not have a driver’s license and was intoxicated. During the medical examination at the hospital, 2.9 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood.
Interestingly, two weeks ago, this driver was already detained by the police for driving while intoxicated. And here he was caught the second time.
Appropriate report of administrative offense was drawn up against the offender for driving in the state of intoxication, his driver’s license was seized. The car was taken to the police impound lot.
"The report of administrative offense drawn up against the offender under Article 130 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Driving while being in the state of alcoholic or narcotic intoxication) will be sent to the court for making a final decision," – the report reads.
