A drunk driver committed an accident in Uzhgorod

The case of driving under the influence was documented by officers of the Patrol Police Response Team of the Uzhgorod department.

Yesterday evening, officers of the Patrol Police Response Team of Uzhgorod district received a report of an accident in the village of Korytnyany.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found out that a car VAZ-2105 driven by a resident of the village of Velyki Heyivtsi hit a car Skoda Superb from behind.

The driver was in a state of intoxication. He was taken to the Uzhgorod drug dispensary for medical examination, where 1.78 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood.

A report of administrative offense for driving in the state of alcoholic intoxication was drawn up aganst the offender. The driver’s license was seized from the man.

The report of administrative violation under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to court for making a final decision.
