For the past 24hrs, the police officers recorded drunk driving cases in Mukachevo, Irshava, Rakhiv and Khust districts. One of the drivers was found after he had committed a road accident and fled from the scene.
The response team of the Rakhiv patrol police found the driver of a Volkswagen who had run into a Toyota car in the village of Bohdan and fled from the scene. The perpetrator of the accident was found almost immediately, he was in a state of intoxication. The test showed 2.63 ppm of alcohol in the blood, an appropriate report was drawn up.
In addition, the police officers stopped drivers of vehicles for violation of the traffic rules in three districts: a tractor in the village of Fornosh in Mukachevo district, a Renault in the village of Ilnytsia in Irshava district and a Mercedes in Khust. All reports of administrative violation against the offenders under Art.130 of the CAO (driving under influence) will be sent to court.
