A drunk border guard got into an accident while trying to escape from the police (PHOTOS)

On August 25, around 3:30, Uzhgorod policemen noticed a car Hyundai Matrix, which was moving toward the patrol in violation of traffic rules. 

The incident occurred on Sobranetska street. 

The policeman gave the signal to stop, but the driver ignored the request. Instead, the man increased the speed and began to drive away, but lost control, hit a curb and rolled over, then got out of the damaged car, and left the scene.

Soon, the crew of patrol police detained the fugitive on Koryatovich square. The 23-year-old driver had signs of intoxication. The test result was positive – 1.67 ppm.

During a conversation with the patrol police, the man introduced himself as lieutenant of the State Border Guard Service.

The policemen evacuated the car to the impound lot. The man received from the police 4 reports on administrative violations of traffic rules. The sentence will be imposed by court.

According to the press service of the Chop border guard detachment, an internal investigation into this case has been ordered.
