A driver hit a cyclist and fled from the scene

Law enforcement officers are establishing the cause of a fatal road accident in the village of Nove Selo. The driver, who hit a cyclist and fleed from the scene, has been found. The man is being questioned by the police
 The report of the body of a man with bodily injuries resulting from a road accident found in the village of Nove Selo in Vynogradiv region was received by law enforcement officers yesterday, August 6, at 11:55 pm. An investigation team, as well as investigators of the Transcarpathian Police Transport Crime Investigation Unit arrived at the scene.
They found out that the man had been hit by a car BMW.   
Using the description of the vehicle, they found the driver involved in the accident. It was be a 32-year-old resident of the village Ilnytsya, Irshava district. The man explained that he got scared and that is why he left the scene of the accident. 
Right now, the police officers are questioning the driver. 
The police opened a criminal proceeding over the fatal accident under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Police experts will determine all the circumstances and the cause of the accident, the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police informs.
