Although the young driver deliberately chose the "green corridor" for customs and border control, inspectors found somewhat nervous behavior of the foreigner suspicious. When asked by customs officers whether he was moving any hidden goods, he answered "no".

Therefore, a canine team was involved in the in-depth inspection of the vehicle. An experienced German shepherd named Mark sniffed out the smell of tobacco.

– More than 200 packs of cigarettes were found behind the factory paneling of the left side of the minibus, between the passenger and driver’s seats, – the dog handler said and clarified: – Access to the detected cigarettes became possible after dismantling the decorative paneling and unscrewing screws.

These actions of the foreigner have signs of violation of customs rules under Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The hidden 210 packs of cigarettes "Parliament Aqua Blue" worth more than UAH 12 thousand and the minibus (made in 2011) used to smuggle the goods, estimated at UAH 266 thousand, were seized pending court decision.
