Regional authorities appealed to the management of the State Migration Service of Ukraine with a proposal to open a sector of Uzhgorod District Department of the State Service Office in Chop.
Because of the absence of this division, the opening of the center for provision of administrative services in Chop is hindered. Under current law, such centers shall provide services in the competence of the migration service within one day.
Uzhgorod District Department of the Migration Service is located in the village of Onokivtsi, 35 kilometers from Chop. Therefore, the center of administrative services in Chop can not work effectively without opening a representative office in the city.
By the end of November, the management of the State Migration Service has to make a decision on opening of the sector in Chop.
