On Match 20, at 17.00, the presentation of the debut book by writer, musician and assistant professor of UzhNU Vasyl Laver will take place in the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library.
In his debut collection "In the Shadow of Erdeg," Vasyl Laver addresses the eternal questions of the fight between Good and Evil, Truth and Lies. In the seventeen short stories, readers, along with the characters of the collection, will be able to experience a wide range of emotions – from fear and despair to faith and hope.
"In the Shadow of Erdeg" is an attempt to cover various aspects of surrounding reality without ignoring those that are uncomfortable for discussion. The collection is intended for adult readers.

Vasyl Laver is candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, musician, writer.
He was born in 1986, in Uzhgorod. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of UzhNU, specialty – Applied Mathematics. He works as Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Technologies of UzhNU. He is a guitarist of the local bands "Obriy", "The Symbioz". He started writing in 2013. He has been published in several collections of Ukrainian horror, including the collection dedicated to the splatterpunk.
