A criminal proceeding over the death of a man during the performance of works at a utility company in Uzhgorod has been initiated (PHOTO)

Uzhgorod police has initiated a criminal investigation into the death of a man during the performance work at a utility company in the regional center.

Today, December 6, a 57-year-old resident of the village of Ruski Komarivtsi in Uzhgorod district died at one of the utility companies in Uzhgorod. The cause of death was the fall from 8-10 meters hight.

A criminal case over the incident has been opened under Article 271 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ("Violation of the statutory labor safety rules"). The investigative team is working at the scene. Policemen are establishing all the circumstances of the tragedy.
