At night, border guards of the Chop detachment prevented the attempt to illegally import a motorcycle into the territory of Ukraine. During the inspection of a "Mercedes" minibus, which was entering Ukraine, law enforcement officers had doubts about the legal nature of the baggage. So, the border guards decided to carry out an in-depth inspection of the vehicle. As a result, a motorcycle "YAMAHA" was found in the luggage compartment during the joint inspection with the customs officers. To hide the vehicle from customs control, the driver tried to carry it among personal things in a disassembled state.
According to the requirements of the current legislation, the motorcycle was seized by the customs officers. The value of the motorcycle is to be estimated.
