A citizen of Romania lost his car because of cigarette smuggling

Yesterday, border guards of the Mukachevo detachment caught a Romanian citizen who tried to smuggle tobacco products across the state border.

A 41-year-old man arrived at the checkpoint "Dyakove" by a car Mercedes. During the joint border inspection of this vehicle, it was found out that three wheels of the car were filled with cigarettes, the total number of which was 722 packs.

The cigarettes were seized from the foreigner and estimated at almost UAH 27 thousand. The car was also seized from the offender, it was estimated at UAH 46 thousand.
