At 5:15 p.m., a second man was found under the rubble, unfortunately, without signs of life. Rescue operations continue.
In Vynogradiv, a building collapsed, rescuers are working at the scene. On May 14 at 4:37 p.m., Rescue Service received a report that during the dismantling works in the former cinema "Promin" in Vynogradiv on Shevchenko street, a collapse of the wall had occurred. A team of 10 people was working at the construction site. One person died and another worker was injured.
Transcarpathian police say that a 62-year-old resident of Vynogradiv died under the rubble. Another victim, a 37-year-old man, resident of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhya region, with numerous injuries was hospitalized in the trauma department of the district hospital.
Journalists of the "Suspilne", citing the director of Vynogradiv district hospital Oleksandr Mylyukov, inform that the injured worker is in a stable condition in the trauma department.
Vasyl Kish, the head of the Vynogradiv Regional State Administration, said that the building of the former cinema was being repaired by a company from Dnipro. They planned to open a grocery store there.
The cause of the collapse will be found out during the investigation. Law enforcement officers opened a criminal case over the incident under Part 2 of Article 271 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the requirements of labor protection legislation). 0312.ua
