The good news in the Transcarpathian outback echoed the bloody events of February at the Kyiv Maidan. On the initiative of the priest of the Greek Catholic Church Fedir Slavets, which he unveiled at a mass rally in Mizhhirya and which was unanimously supported by its participants, a chapel in honor of the memory of those, who died for Ukraine during the confrontation between protesters and dictatorship authorities, will be built in the town.
The sanctuary will be located in the "heart" of the mountain district center – in the vicinity of the local St. Michael’s church. On its walls, there will be a plaque with the names of slain heroes engraved in golden letters. Every day, the melody of the bell will convene believers for a prayer for the victims.
The design of the chapel is already made.
