A car stolen in Italy was detained in Transcarpathia

This morning, border guards found another vehicle that was listed as stolen abroad.

Thus, a car Mercedes with Spanish registration driven by our compatriot arrived at the checkpoint "Tisa" for passport control. During the inspection of documents, the alert from the "Interpol" database was received. Border guards reported that fact to representatives of the Ukrainian Interpol Bureau and the National Police. Law enforcers confirmed that the Mercedes was listed as stolen in Italy.

Upon completion of the necessary procedures, the vehicle and the documents were handed over to the officers of the National Police, the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informed.
